William (Bill) Nunan
Bill has been working within the field of Business and Commercial Law at Cleary & Lee for more than 20 years where he specialises in Small Business advice, Business Transfers, Partnerships, Company Law, Trusts and succession planning.
Bill also deals with larger Commercial and Institutional clients in providing legal services in such matters as contracts, company structures, trusts, Health law, intellectual property, Employment Law and commercial disputes. This extensive experience has given Bill valuable insight into the day to day operations of small to medium size businesses and therefore is well qualified to advise on and prevent any legal hazards or liability.
Working for ten years in the Justice Department of the Queensland Government also gives Bill extensive experience in Estate Administration, Conveyancing and Criminal Law. The many valuable insights into the workings of Government Departments gained during those years Bill now draws upon in obtaining information and in advising clients.
Bill Nunan is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and a member of the Queensland Law Society, Downs & South Western Law Association and the Law Council of Australia.

Dermot O'Donnell holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland along with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Dermot commenced his legal career as a Law Clerk within Plaintiff firms involved in the areas of personal injury including Motor Vehicle and WorkCover claims and Q-COMP appeals. Since joining Cleary & Lee Lawyers, Dermot works in the Brisbane office, mainly in the area of motor vehicle litigation on behalf of Defendants and assisting the partner, Patrick Nunan, is some of the firm's aviation claims.
Dermot's possesses a keen interest in Insurance Litigation and Aviation Law and looks forward to developing his career by expanding into areas of Litigation, Regulation, Contract and Mergers and Acquisitions for Airlines and other aviation related bodies and organizations. As an example of Dermot's ongoing Professional Development into this area, he is currently completing a Masters in Science and Technology, specializing in Aviation Management, through the University of New South Wales, to compliment his practical knowledge and experience.
Dermot was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2006 and is currently a member of the Queensland Law Society and a member of the Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand.
